Early 19th century single dark green and black painted sconce.  Crimped crest on a long, slightly narrowing back.  The cleated candle cup with an aperature sits in a deep well.  The early painted surface is dry and exhibits typical craquelure of a 200+ year-old piece. The painted design features a dark green background with black added to emphasize the structural design of the sconce.  In excellent condition.
